Skipp β Team Communication SaaS
βAsync-first team messaging that respects deep workβ
Skipp is a team communication SaaS designed around async-first workflows. Instead of always-on chat, Skipp encourages focused update threads, daily digests, and structured check-ins. Built with Next.js, Go, and WebSockets for real-time delivery when teammates are online.

Features & Highlights
Key capabilities and achievements
Structured Threads
CoreEvery update lives in a Thread with a title, status badge (open/waiting/resolved), and optional due date. Threads are searchable, linkable, and can be archived without deleting history.
Daily Digest
CoreEach morning, Skipp sends a personalised digest of unread threads β grouped by project and urgency. Engineers read once, reply in batch, and stay informed without constant monitoring.
Real-Time Presence
When two or more teammates are online simultaneously, Skipp enables real-time chat within threads. The same WebSocket hub infrastructure from GoChat powers delivery.
File Attachments
Drag-and-drop file uploads stored on AWS S3 via pre-signed URLs. Images show inline previews; other files get download cards. Max 50MB per file.
